I received a phone call on my cell. At the time, I was helping out a buddy of mine at his new store for the grand opening. I had never imagined itĄ¯d be an international call all the way from Seoul, Korea.

Mr. Park, a prominent figure at Daeyang, was at the other end wanting to speak with me for a possible interview over the phone. I was hesitant at first because I wasnĄ¯t prepared for the pop-quiz.
I liked this sort of spontaneity, though, and the opportunity to rise to the occasion and live up to the challenge. Our conversations lasted almost 40 minutes!

As for myself, I spent my childhood in Korea where I was born and raised till the age of twelve. IĄ¯ve lived in both Canada and the United States for 14 years. I majored in International Relations and minored in the Brazilian Portuguese language. I have always had interest in Latin America for its cultures and the life within.

I wish to tap into the society in one way or another by means of cultural exchange, diplomacy, business/economics, etc. for the bem-esta (well-being) for all. And for that sole purpose I chose to start my very first career at Daeyang.

Here at Daeyang,it doesnĄ¯t matter where you come from as long as you have a solid goal and want to test out your knowledge and skills. With hands-on training and having the world at my fingertip simply by clicking on the mouse, IĄ¯m responsible for the voyage under my command. I couldnĄ¯t tell you even the little I know so far in just one page, because itĄ¯s only a tip of the iceberg and a page isnĄ¯t enough to introduce you to the depth of the international shipping business.

But I will say, if you want a career in the international field and have some excitement in your life, welcome aboard.
